A Short Message: Take it One Step at a Time

Sometimes the day can feel so overwhelming when you have a great many things to do. It can shake you to your core and make you feel as though you are unable to do it all. Your mind may race as you attempt to take on everything at once, furthering you into a state of anxiousness. And when you don't fulfill your expectations, you may even feel unworthy and turn to self-doubt. My friends, it’s OK to feel this way but be kind to yourself. Close your eyes, slow your breath, and then take it one step at a time. Remember, you are only human; be patient.

Do your best at each task and take short breaks in between to slow your heart rate and breath. If you feel that the tasks are too much to take on alone, remember it’s ok to ask for help. No one expects you to be perfect and no one expects you to have nor gain superhuman traits. The most important thing we can do is try our best. Therefore, let go of those fears that are holding you back from being able to think clearly. Take it one step at a time and be your own best friend. You are doing great!
